Blogging on Attitude
A blog (an abridgment of the term web log) is essentially a personal diary, but online. No genius there. But here’s the real difference: unlike the hardback version that you would hide under the pillow for fear of your little brother discovering your innermost secrets and revealing your latest teen crush to the losers in Year 11 a blog is a diary you actually WANT people to read.

So, how many of us are really prepared to whittle away the time, self-indulgently tapping away furiously on a keyboard for days on end like a modern day Adrian Mole in some desperate attempt at getting ourselves noticed on the inter-web? Millions actually. Absolutely millions, even.

So to make things interesting, bloggers usually add new topics, especially subjects their have a keen interest in. These are then supported by images – and sometimes sound and video too. Oh, and blogs are usually part of a wider social network platform, meaning not only can you can view other people’s blogs, but you are free to comment on the action too.

Our adoration of Telephone has reached fever pitch. So much so that we might just devote the whole of today to celebrating Gaga. Actually, why not just make 12th March an annual national holiday. They don't call him Glambert for nuttin' The American Idol runner up (who we have done an exclusive interview with in our April issue, in shops now) has revealed that his own love of slap has now extended to a desire to get men the world over caked in make-up. He apparently plans to launch his own range of mens eyeliner, foundation, lip gloss, nail varnish, concealer... You get the picture. Would you buy it?

It feels as if we have been trembling with anticipation for the Telephone video since before the dawn of man - and here it is! We think both Gaga and Beyonce give amazing performances - and they've certainly taken risks with this nine minute epic. Do you think its paid off?

Sean hayes, the actor who played Jack in Will and Grace, has come out as gay. When people used to claim he wasn't actually gay, it was kind of one of those times when you were tempted to believe them, because surely nobody so camp could have the audacity to assert their heterosexuality unless they had the trump card of actually being 100% genuinely straight. We feel cheated. And a bit indifferent.

When we used to say that a career as a Pussycat Doll amounted to being Nicole Scherzinger's back-up dancer, and that she could replace the lot without anyone noticing, we didn't expect her to actually do it. She has. PCD creator Robin Antin has announced that they are shipping the old girls out and replacing them with a new batch. We want her direct line to suggest allowing fans to vote members in and out. Bring back Carmen!
