Something very exciting is happening this year. A brand new television show will be hitting our screens soon and in a word it just looks superduperfantastic. It's a musical drama (you're hooked already aren't you) about people making a musical about Marilyn Monroe. Genius. It's labeled as a Glee-for-adults and there are so many more reasons why it looks superduperfantastic. Firstly it's produced by Steven Spielberg, and that man always does good things (Goonies etc). Secondly it stars Debra Messing (Grace from Will & Grace) and Anjelica Huston (Morticia). Thirdly Marc Shaiman is the composer and he's the guy that gave us the Hairspray soundtrack. It will be shown on Sky Atlantic starting in "early 2012". Check out the preview below to see for yourself just how amazing this will be.
