The popular action role-playing game Mass Effect has squashed a whole load of goodies into its latest installment: new weapons, multiplayer modes and, oh yes, the option to let you partake in some homosexual antics.
Both straight and lesbian relationships were a feature in the previous game, perhaps pandering to a largely heterosexual male gamer population, but when Mass Effect 3 'comes out' this Friday, it will be the first time players will be able to make their male characters flirt, bed and love other men. Developers BioWare say the new feature is a response to what gaming community are asking for.
We've not had a go yet, but with space, gay love and serious/camp soliloquies about 'destiny', we can't see what's not to like.
