We love a good festival. Despite the current weather (grr, rain, etc.) we're in full-on summer swing, and booking our tents and what have you.
If you're into your dance music, we wanted to tell you all about the Vintage Festival. Curated by disco bigwig Greg Wilson and Jack Hemingway, the warehouse nightclub will pay respect to Britain's inimitable dance and club culture, as well as the DJ's that have shaped it, such as Norman Jay and Danny Rampling.
With the return of some old partnerships and some one-off pairings, the warehouse nightclub will celebrate the roots of rave culture, the discovery of the 'Baleric Beat' in Ibiza and on the Saturday afternoon Gay club culture will take centre stage. Performances will come from the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Ian Levine (Heaven Set) and former Blitz kids – Mark Moore, Princess Julia & Jeffrey Hinton.
So if you fancy a bit of nostalgia, it sounds like a good chance to throw shapes to all the music from 70s Funk and Disco through to Rave and Acid House.
