SYDNEY: GAY RUGBY CHAMPIONS
The winners of the 2012 Bingham Cup - the premier gay rugby competition - were the Sydney Convicts. Congratulations, lads. They beat the San Francisco Fog by 22 to 5, to lift the trophy.

The three-day tournament took place between 1st and 3rd of June in Manchester, and saw 37 teams from 12 countries compete.

Having started in 2002, the Bingham Cup has been held in host cities such as Dublin, London, New York and Minneapolis. A decision on the 2014 host city has yet to be announced, but we'll be packing our bags for a road trip.

Manchester’s gay rugby team – the Village Spartans – achieved sixth place. Well done, boys.
