Spraggan became a viewer's favourite after singing her own song 'Last Night (Beer Fear)' at her first audition.
Despite being thrown a lifeline last week, as singer/songwriter Lucy Spraggan was automatically put through to this week's live show, there has been no let up in rumours saying she may be about to quit the show. Comments made by fellow diva and best bud Rylan Clark in The Sun have given credence to speculation that Spraggan may not be enjoying the show as much as she had hoped. He said "her health comes first and the show comes second at the moment". Sounds believable enough, right?
Well, apparently not. Lucy has been at the centre of controversy throughout the past few weeks, with reports claiming the contestant has been unhappy about the song choices given to her by judge and mentor Tulisa. Add to that the fact that producers talked Lucy into removing all of her original music from iTunes and it becomes clear why she could be feeling uncomfortable with her situation.
Sources have also confirmed that Spraggan had to cancel her rehearsal earlier this week, citing 'exhaustion' as her excuse. Needless to say, producers are maintaining their usual stance that their foremost priority is the contestants' well-being, with one insider insisting that "there is no pressure" for Lucy to perform on Saturday or to leave the show.
