Another gay venue to close in London

After more than 60 years, The Queen's Head in Chelsea is set to close down. The Queen's Head on Tyron Street, which has been described as one “key gay drinking destination” in London, is set to close next month. The pub has served the LGBT community for over 60 years will be closing its doors for the last time on 6th September. The closure comes as pub's operators couldn't agree on terms on a new lease with its landlords. The pub posted a statement on its Facebook page saying that all the staff were 'bloody gutted' that they were being forced to close. Obviously this has sparked alot of sympathy for the pub, people replied to the statement saying: More stories: 20 of the hottest Olympic athletes from Rio 2016 Daily Mail’s casual homophobia called out on Twitter
