Make way for Hurricane Bianca, because the RuPaul's Drag Race winner is set to make her West End debut in the hottest LGBTQ musical in years, Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
Yep, Bianca Del Rio, aka Roy Haylock, will be treading the boards in the award-winning musical as Loco Chanelle/Hugo for a eight week-stint staring in May.
The drag superstar will join cast members including Layton Williams (Jamie) and Steps star Faye Tozer (Miss Hedge) from 6 May to 29 June, ahead of her mammoth tour of the UK nd Irelansd in September, which nicludes a gig at London's Wembley Arena.
“I’m absolutely ecstatic to be joining the brilliant cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie!" Bianca said in a statement.
"What better way to return to the musical theatre stage than in a WEST END production?! It’s such an incredible honour.
"Helen Mirren beat me to playing Queen Elizabeth, so I accepted the role of the next best admired queen… Loco Chanelle!”.
