We received tremendous support from our generous guests who helped us to raise over £20,000 for the Manchester Pride Community Fund. This is more than twice the amount raised at our formal dinner event in 2014. It's humbling to know that people are so willing to support us in our quest to raise essential funds for the vital services provided by our charity partners," said Mark Fletcher, Chief Executive of Manchester Pride. The Black Tie star-studded evening is complemented by Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend and The Superbia program of cultural events as part of the charity's year-long calendar of fundraising activity. The Big Weekend will take place from Friday 28th to Monday 31st August 2015. Acts confirmed to perform across the bank holiday weekend include Texas, DJ Fresh, Atomic Kitten, Union J, Stooshe, Hot Since 82, and Big Weekend favorite Lucy Spraggan. Other Big Weekend highlights include the vibrant Manchester Pride Parade on Saturday 29th August.
