Fergie could release the lead single from her new solo album before the end of the year.
The Black Eyed Peas singer's second solo album is set for release in 2015, according to
Billboard.
During an appearance on US late-night chat show
Chelsea Lately last month, Fergie
confirmed that she is working on the follow-up to 2006's
The Dutchess. She also revealed that she intends to tour in support of the record.
Mike WiLL Made-It - who executive-produced Miley Cyrus's
Bangerz - is reportedly working with the
Glamorous singer on new material.
The Dutchess reached number two on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, and spawned the hit singles
London Bridge,
Fergalicious,
Glamorous and the Grammy-nominated
Big Girls Don’t Cry (Personal).
The Black Eyed Peas are on hiatus as they pursue solo projects. They released their most recent album,
The Beginning, in November 2010.
