Former 'Glee' star Alex Newell serves sass in spade-loads on 'Boy, You Can Keep It' - WATCH

Unique is back with a bona fide banger.

2020-02-13

After joining the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles to deliver that incredible Laura Dern tribute at the Film Indendent Spirit Awards last week, Alex Newell is back with a banger of a new single, 'Boy, You Can Keep It'.

The 27-year-old singer, who starred as trans student Unique Adams on Glee from 2011-15, serves sass in spade-loads as he marks his return to pop music following stints on Broadway and on TV's Empire.

Newell, who identifies as a gender nonconforming gay man, has established himself as one of Glee's biggest post-show successes, scoring two UK Top Five hits as part of Clean Bandit's 'Stronger' and Blond's 'All Cried Out'.
