A gay couple were attacked by a group of neo-Nazis in Madrid on Friday (December 12).
Ten men and a woman approached the pair while they were sitting on a bench with a friend in the Temple of Debod district of the Spanish capital, according to The Huffington Post
The couple, aged 17 and 23, were pushed and kicked to the ground by the attackers, with one of them requiring hospital treatment for bruising.
Santiago Rivero, of Madrid-based LGBT group Cogam, said that the pair have been left "afraid" by the attack, adding that they wish to remain anonymous.
The attack comes just weeks after a gay couple were asked to leave a Burger King restaurant in the city, after two families complained that they were kissing.
