Gay cyclist misses out on hook-up after getting tackled by NY Police during Obama's Motorcade

President Obama was in New York on Wednesday to record his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and as he made his through the city, roads were temporarily closed. Unfortunately for 59-year-old Daniel Provencio, things ended badly. The gay cyclist was tackled and detained by the New York Police while he was on his way to a hook-up for riding his bike through an area on 50th Street that was barricaded for Obama's motorcade and Provencio, listening to Carly Rae Japsen's 'Call Me Maybe', didn't hear the shouts telling him to stop. The police tackled and then interrogated him, leaving him hours late to the hook-up. Sadly for Provencio, his hook-up lost interest. "Manhattan men are huge on punctuality," he told TMZ. A witness of the event managed to capture the whole thing on camera and shows how police shouted at him before tackling. You can watch footage of the incident below:
