Gay drama 'Call Me By Your Name' earns four Oscar nominations

The nominations for the 90th Academy Awards have been announced. 

Guillermo Del Toro's The Shape of Water leads the show with a whopping 13 nominations, including Best Picture. Meanwhile, Dunkirk and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri are two other strong contenders. 

After missing out at the Golden Globe awards, acclaimed gay drama Call Me By Your Name has earned four nominations including Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Other films nominated for best picture include Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, The Post and Get Out.
