Gwen Stefani wants new solo album and No Doubt album

GwenGwen Stefani has revealed that she wants to release a new solo album as well as a new album with No Doubt. Stefani, who is currently appearing as a "coach" on The Voice in the US, revealed that No Doubt are working on a new album during a red carpet interview at the MTV Video Music Awards last night (August 24). "We are working on new music, new No Doubt music, new music generally," Stefani told Access Hollywood. Asked about the possibility of third solo album, following rumours earlier this year that one is in the works, the singer admitted she "wants to do it all". "I'm in this weird place where things just happen now. I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen. I want to do both [a solo album and a No Doubt album], I want to do it all," Stefani said. Stefani has released two solo albums to date: 2004's Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and 2006′s The Sweet Escape. The two albums combined sold over ten million copies worldwide, and spawned a series of hits including What You Waiting For?, Rich Girl, Hollaback Girl, Cool, Wind It Up and The Sweet Escape. Her most recent release was No Doubt’s 2012 comeback album Push and Shove, which peaked at number three in the US but failed to reach the top ten on the UK’s Official Albums Chart. Lead single Settle Down performed disappointingly, stalling outside the top 30 in the US and outside the top 75 in the UK.
