Gwen Stefani is working on her third solo album, according to music industry website
Hits Double Daily.
No details surrounding the album have been revealed, just that it is "in the works".
Stefani has released two solo albums to date: 2004's
Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and 2006's
The Sweet Escape.
The two albums combined sold over ten million copies worldwide, and spawned a series of hits including
What You Waiting For?,
Rich Girl,
Hollaback Girl,
Cool,
Wind It Up and
The Sweet Escape.
Stefani's last release was No Doubt's 2012 comeback album
Push and Shove, which peaked at number three in the US but failed to reach the top ten on the UK's Official Albums Chart. Lead single
Settle Down performed disappointingly, stalling outside the top 30 in the US and outside the top 75 in the UK.
