"It'll be a hit"

An insider also told the outlet of the high expectations for the film, saying: "With Harry and Emma starring, it’ll be a hit.”

The news follows reports of production recently commencing in London.

It also recently emerged that David Dawson will play Harry's on-screen lover in the film.

Based on the novel by Bethan Roberts and set in Brighton in 1957 when homosexuality was illegal, it follows the decades-spanning love triangle between Harry, Bethan, and David's characters.

The Happy Prince star Everett will play the older version of David's character, while Linus Roache will play the older version of Harry's character, Tom.

Harry - known for hits including 'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Sign of the Times - made his film debut in 2017 with Dunkirk.
