Has someone tried to steal Spice Girls Trio GEM's new song?

The songwriter and Producer for GEM - the recently reformed trio of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B - has had his laptop stolen from a London Hotel, according to reports from Digital Spy.

The laptop was stolen from the K West hotel in London last Friday, on the 20th Anniversary of 'Wannabe'.

Producer Eliot Kennedy took to Twitter to vent his anger:

Speaking about recording with GEM to Good Morning Britain, Kennedy said "We've been in the studio with just three of them and we had a fantastic couple of days,"

"It's 20 years, that's a serious amount of time and they've had such a massive influence on women around the world. America's likely to have a woman President, we're gonna have another woman Prime Minister – women rock!"
