Idina Menzel: 'Frozen' sequel in the works'

FrozenFrozen star Idina Menzel has revealed that a sequel to the hit animated film is "in the works." Despite the success of Frozen, Disney said in April that it has yet to discuss a sequel – and is currently focusing on the Broadway adaptation of the smash hit film instead. Now, Menzel – who voiced Queen Elsa in the critically acclaimed film – has confirmed in a new interview that a follow up is definitely happening.
“They're all in the works," the broadway star told The Telegraph. When questioned about whether she will star in both projects, she replied: “Not the stage show – I don't know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I’m just going along for the ride." Frozen's worldwide popularity saw it become the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, and it also scooped the Best Animated Feature prize at this year’s Oscars.
