Kim Cattrall blasts Sarah Jessica Parker: 'This just shows how cruel you really were then and now'

SJP reached out to share her condolences after Kim's brother passed away

Kim Catrall has slammed Sarah Jessica Paker in a shocking social media exchange.

The actress, who played Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex in the City, has hit back at her former co-star after Parker reached out with a condolence message after Kim's brother was found dead last Sunday.

Responding to a post about Kim's brother, SJP wrote:"Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx."

In a scathing response, Kim blasted her former co-star's heartfelt post and claimed that it was nothing more than an effort to restore her "nice girl" image.

"Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona," wrote Kim.

After linking to a story about the alleged 'Mean Girl' culture that left the friendship between the Sex And The City co-stars all but none-existant, the star then told SJP to keep her condolences to herself.

"I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker," Kim added.

Another of Kim's former co-stars, Cynthia Nixon, also reached out, saying: "Hey Kim such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO."

In a strikingly different response, Kim thanked her former co-star for her kind words, saying: "Cynthia, hearing your voice meant so much to me. Thank you for reaching out. Love Kim #SexandtheCity."

The latest breakdown in SJP's and Kim's friendship comes after the Samantha Jones actres branded her relationship with her Sex and the City co-star as "toxic" in the wake of the news that Sex and the City 3 had been cancelled.
