Lady Gaga isn't taking Donald Trump's election victory lying down

The battle may be lost but the war is far from over for Lady Gaga, who staged a protest outside Trump Towers in New York city in the wake of Trump's election. The Perfect Illusion singer was a staunch Hilary supporter, and having given a performance at one of the Democratic nominee's rallies earlier this week, held a sign reading 'Love Trumps Hate' outside the sky-scraper on 5th Avenue in the wake of yesterday's election yesterday (November 9), which saw Trump chosen as the 45th president of the United States. Tweeting her anger at the result to her 64 million followers, |Gaga wrote: The chaos in USA is the result of Trump's irresponsible campaigning. He is not a role model, look at this mess he created. #LoveTrumpsHate". The LGBT icon also shared information for LGBT youth concerned about the result of the election. It emerged today that calls to LGBT youth support lines have skyrocketed in wake of the result, with reports that some trans youths have even taken their own lies. Gaga was later pictured with Samantha Ronson in New York City with the words 'Love Trumps Hate' written across her shirt. https://twitter.com/ladygaga/status/796524658451501058 https://twitter.com/UKMonster/status/796572844570378240 She also shared a picture of herself with LGBT and Black Lives Matter activist Deray McKesson, writing: "In a room full of hope, we will be heard.
