Lady Gaga has returned and the Little Monsters are losing their minds!

After a two-year wait, the much-anticipated Chromatica Ball tour kicked off in Düsseldorf, Germany last night (17 July) where 60,000 Gaga fans squeezed into the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

In classic Gaga fashion, the show was a theatrical extravaganza packed full of numerous outfit changes, highly choreographed dance routines, and thousands of screaming Little Monsters.

The Chromatica Ball arrives two years after she released the critically acclaimed, titular album and had to postpone her worldwide tour.

“There was a time I thought I’d never be on stage again. I was so sad I couldn’t even dream anything but a painful nightmare” she tweeted ahead of taking to the stage at the weekend.

“I’ve overcome my nightmare with love, support, trust, truth, bravery, talent and dedication. I am so grateful. I’ll see you in BABYLON.”

The Little Monsters were amped up to see their mother grace the stage, and she did not disappoint.

“I can‘t believe I was blessed to see her this close. It felt so unreal, I still can’t believe the whole show happened. I love her so much she makes me so happy. This show was just so magical,” tweeted one fan.

Another ecstatically tweeted: “THAT’S HOW YOU MAKE A COMEBACK TO THE STAGE”

The comments on clips of her performance are abound with heartfelt sentiments for the 36-year-old singer-songwriter.

“I was there and genuinely believe she could have performed the show blindfolded she was so on point for the whole night!” reads one comment.

Another fan says: “POV: The countess reborn into a singer in a planet named Chromatica”

One of Gaga’s fans even provided a full analysis of the show, which Gaga retweeted, breaking the Chromatica Ball performance down into five acts and describing it as an artistic “exorcism.”

In the UK, Gaga will be performing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London for two shows on 29 and 30 July.
