Lady Gaga post US election vote in platform boots in fierce video: 'Ballot drop off realness'

A mood.

2020-10-27

Lady Gaga has exercised her constitutional right to vote - and, of course, has made doing so look like a fabulous music video.

The Rain On Me singer shared the clip of herself posting her vote on Instagram today.

"Category: Ballot Drop Off Realness," she wrote, alongside footage of her emerging from a sports car wearing giant pink platform boots.

If this doesn't motivate the masses to vote, what will?

"Make your plan to vote early now"

The video follows another Insta post from Gaga over the weekend, in which she urged fans to vote early ahead of the US election on 3 November.

On Saturday 24 October, she said: "Ballot’s here! And it’s #VoteEarlyDay! Today’s the perfect day to join the 46 million people who have already cast their ballots in the 2020 election.

November's election sees Republican leader and incumbent President Donald Trump go head-to-head with Democrat leader Joe Biden.

Gaga's posts follow fellow pop icon Cher coming out fighting for Biden at a rally in Las Vegas over the weekend, at which she said Trump is "ripping the guts out" of the US.
