Lady Gaga suffered a nasty fall off stage during her Enigma residency show in Las Vegas on Thursday night (17 October).

The 'Shallow' singer, 33, had invited a fan on stage during the performance at the Park Theater, but after allowing herself to be picked up found herself tumbling several feet off stage after he lost his footing.

The dramatic moment was captured on video by audience members, who watched in horror as their idol plummeted to the floor with the fan on top of her.

Gaga, who lives with fibromyalgia, a join condition causing chronic pain, soldiered on after the incident, however, reassuring the fan he was not to blame as they clambered back on stage.

“Everything’s ok, everything’s ok", the singer could be heard saying. "What’s not ok is we need some stairs for the stage to get back up."

Turning to the fan, named James, she said: “Are you alright? It’s fine, it’s not your fault. I suppose we should have some tea after that, f***. That was a fall!

After a clearly mortified James told Gaga he had been a fan for more than a decade, she replied: “I think that’s amazing. Eleven years and we love each other so f***ing much we fell off the stage.

"I’ve fallen off the stage before…you know what we did? We fell into each other’s arms. We’re like Rose and Jack from the Titanic."

Fans will be hoping Mother Monster, was previously forced to cut her Born This Way Tour short in 2013 after breaking her hip, suffers no lasting injuries from the fall.

Her Enigma show, which kicked off in December last year, is set to continue until May 2020.

Gaga looked on the road to recovery as she shared picture of herself in an ice bath following the performance.

"Post show routine: ice bath for 5-10 min, hot bath for 20, then compression suit packed with ice packs for 20," she wrote.
