While no other casting or production details of American Horror Story: Hotel have been revealed, the teaser confirms that the FX horror anthology series will return for a fifth installment this October.
The news comes just a day after show star Ben Woolf passed away in an LA hospital, having suffering a stroke four days after being hit by a car in Hollywood.
Details about Gaga's role are being kept under wraps, series creator Ryan Murphy is said to be planning a large 'reinvention' for the show's fifth season, which will be the first not to include Jessica Lange - though Murphy has admitted he is trying to persuade her to return.
Gaga's previous acting credits include minor roles in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills and Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For, as well as Men in Black 3.
