Pop music icons Madonna and Katy Perry could be about to team up for a song.

‘Roar’ singer Katy is set to appear on a track on Madonna’s upcoming remix album, according to The Sun.

Said album will mark the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s debut single ‘Everybody’ in October.

“She’s been a massive fan of Katy for years”

A source has told the publication that “Madonna has been going flat out over the past few weeks. Not only is she working on her biopic but she’s also been in the studio at all hours.”

They continued: “She’s been a massive fan of Katy for years and always talked about doing a song with her. With the remix project, things have fallen into place.

“As plans are still being sorted out, no release date is set yet. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too long.”

A collab between KP and Madge – both of whom have performed at the Superbowl Halftime show – would be huge and we’re definitely interested to hear more about it.

Madonna first shared news of her biopic in 2020, saying: “I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world.”

Meanwhile, Katy is currently performing her show ‘PLAY’ at Resorts World in Las Vegas, which she’s described as “the kookiest, most camp show I’ve ever put together.”

Attitude has approached reps for Madonna and Katy Perry for comment.
