The actor will appear in one episode of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series, EW reports, in a role which co-creator and co-producer Murphy describes as "very… warped". Murphy and Bomer previously worked together on HBO's acclaimed adaptation of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart, which received its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic in June. In the latest instalment of American Horror Story, Jessica Lange will once again lead the cast, playing a German expat managing one of the final freak shows in 1950s America. American Horror Story favourites Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Denis O'Hare, Gabourey Sidibe and Evan Peters will also appear in prominent roles. Meanwhile, the world’s smallest woman was recently added to the cast of the show – check out a glimpse of her with Jessica Lange here. A legendary soul singer has also joined the show’s formidable ensemble cast recently – find out who here. American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere on the FX network in the US on October 8. In the UK, it will begin on the FOX channel at a later date in October to be confirmed.
