WARNING: Star Wars spoiler alert!
We at Attitude HQ don’t want to cause a similar octave of anger, and but the tweet in question has since been deleted, with Sam posting “oops” in its place.
And while the Montreal Alouettes player later apologised in a tweet, the damage has clearly been done.
“Sorry about the spoiler alert. Didn't ruin the entire movie,” he said.

"I don't believe it. I don't believe that you are that much of a fucking retard," said another.

As for the tweet in questions, Sam, revealed perhaps a little too flippantly that Harrison Ford’s reprisal of Han Solo in The Force Awakens was short-lived, with the character dying at the end of the film.
“So the last time I saw a grown man cry during a movie was when #Mufasa died in #lionking. RIP #HanSolo,” he said.
