Rihanna breaks down in tears onstage in Dublin

We certainly didn't see this coming. It was a typically fashionably-late Rihanna who took on the Dublin's Aviva Stadium as part of her Anti World Tour yesterday (June 21), but it was just two songs into her set, as she began to perform massive Number One hit 'Love The Way You Lie', that the 28-year-old star waved at the audience as she tried in vain to stop the tears from flowing. It was an unexpected moment from the normally tough-as-nails star that quickly got her international fan-base talking. https://twitter.com/badgalrivers/status/745389779253100544 https://twitter.com/illestbaba/status/745356014518673408 https://twitter.com/QuentinBouhafs/status/745358333444501504 Rih-Rih referenced the moment as she took to Instagram after the show, calling it an "emotional show" and thanking her fans for 'snatching her out of it'.

What a night!!!! Such an emotional show for me! I feel so lucky to have a team like the #Navy man! I'm blessed!! No matter what I'm on you always snatch me out of it! I'm so grateful to have y'all! ⚓⚓⚓ #DUBLIN #ANTIWORLDTOUR

But, Navys, no concern is to be sparked. Teary-eyed Riri then continued singing and delivered - as per usual - a spectacular show; to then later thank her audience and annihilate all assumptions: ‘’I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland in Dublin. (...) Thank you so much.’’ Dubliners be prepared. Rihanna will be taking over the Wembley stadium and time has come for the Brits to show what they’ve got.
