Ryan Murphy is one of the busiest people working in Hollywood at the moment and his next projects shows he won’t be stopping any time soon.

The writer and director announced he will be producing a 10-part mini-series adaptation of the Broadway musical A Chorus Line.

The nine-time winning Tony Award musical follows the struggles and aspirations of a group of Broadway dancers.

It was the longest-running Broadway show in history until Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats took the crown in 1997 and then the now-revived Chicago.

This will be the second musical adaptation the Glee creator will be working on after it was announced he will be adapting the Broadway musical The Prom.

Murphy – who is set to release the ninth season of American Horror Story – has also revealed he will be working on a series about famed fashion designer Halston with Ewan McGregor as the titular character, Entertainment Weekly confirmed.

He’s also working on a series about a closeted lesbian couple who didn’t come out until they were in their 80s and a 10-part series about Andy Warhol.

While we wait, Murphy’s newest project The Politician, starring Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange, will be arriving on Netflix this autumn.

He is also working on an adaptation of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest starring long-time collaborator Sarah Paulson. Plus adapting the Aids epic Boys in the Band with the original Broadway cast.
