Tom of Finland x CDLP underwear collection gets mouth-watering update

Tank tops, jockstraps and erotic artwork? Christmas just came early.

By Joseph Kocharian

As Tom of Finland celebrates its centennial, the iconic gay artist’s work has once again caught the eye of Swedish underwear brand CDLP, following a drool-worthy collection of jockstraps and briefs in 2018.

This time round, Creative Director Christian Larson has revisited Tom of Finland’s racy imagery to create a tank top with embroidered slogan ‘Tom 1986’.

The jockstrap has received an update too, with ‘Tom’ now embroidered on the waistband, and as we’ve come to expect from CDLP, the pieces are super-soft to the touch and perfectly crafted with eco-conscious lyocell.

The collection’s packaging is an artform in itself, adorned with reproductions of original erotic Tom of Finland artwork that’ll make quite the statement under the Christmas tree (perhaps another reason not to have granny round this year).

Twinned with the Tom of Finland Foundation, the non-profit archive dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Tom’s work, you can enjoy the range knowing you’re also helping to protect a slice of gay history in the process.

The CDLP x Tom of Finland collection is available now at CDLP.com, Tom of Finland Store and Voo Berlin.
