After throwing it back to the '90s on last year's hit collaboration '1999', Troye Sivan and Charli XCX are throwing it forward to the '90s - the 2090s, that is.
Futuritis new single '2099', which closes Charli's recently released thrid studio album Charli, sees the Troye and Charli ruminate on fame and artistic freedom in a moodily experimental electro track that serves as the antithesis to the ear-worming nostalgia-fest that was '1999'.
The action-packed video, released on Teusday (17 September), sees the pair ride into the future on jet skis as Troye('s stunt double) shows off some might impressive aerial acobatics.
Sharing a behind the scenes video from the set, Troye joked that he started training "a couple of weeks ago" for the jet ski gymnastics, adding that Charli herself was "completely useless."
"Once you get the hang of it, it's really not that hard."
A multi-talented queen, Troye.
