Cher postpones tour dates due to ‘acute viral infection’

Cher has postponed two upcoming tour dates after contracting an “acute viral infection”.

The singer’s Dressed To Kill shows in Albany, New York and Manchester, New Hampshire have been affected, with the tour set to resume next Monday (September 15) in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Her show at Albany’s Times Union Center has been moved from September 11 to October 6, while her performance at Manchester’s Verizon Wireless Arena has been rescheduled from September 13 to October 7.

Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled shows will be entitled to a full refund.

After seeking medical advice, Cher has been told to have several days on full bed rest, ahead of her next show.
