Cher apologises for coming onstage late in classic Cher style
By Josh Haggis
Cher has taken to Twitter to apologise for coming onstage late during her ‘Dressed to Kill Tour’.
The singer/actress/TV host/entrepreneur/Attitude Award winner kicked off the tour on Saturday night (March 22) in Phoenix, Arizona – and later tweeted that the opening night wasn’t smooth.
The second show took place in Houston, Texas last night (March 24) and Cher’s set – plus that of support act Pat Benatar – apparently failed to start on time.
Cher then continued: “Check it out.., I’ve NEVER LET PPL WAIT !!! I HATE THAT ANYONE HAD TO WAIT !!! WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN.”
The 67-year-old pop culture icon then moved on to some rather lighter tweets. Discussing her post-show eating habits, she posted:
She then ended her flurry of tweets with:”Get SO HUNGRY AFTER SHOW ! USE UP SO MUCH ENERGY, IM LIKE JET ENGINE ! BURN MYSELF OUT… IF IM ANY GOOD, THAT IS!! THATS WAY 2TELL.”
We love you, Cher.
