Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis got emotional while remembering their late co-star Willie Garson on a recent episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Cynthia, Kristin and Sarah Jessica Parker can currently be seen starring in the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That with Garson, who died after a battle with pancreatic cancer in September.
Kim Cattrall, who played maneater Samantha on the original show, was one of the only core cast members not return for the new show.
"He still brought so much joy"
Speaking on the talk show, Cynthia said: "Willie was just a person who just lightened any situation that he was in and just would have you in stitches within, you know, a minute of coming into a conversation.
"He was a person with incredible stories, like, showbusiness stories, and stories about his own zany life. The family that he comes from, the family he created."
Getting visibly emotional, Kristin added: "[He was] full of joy and so incredibly brilliant and smart even being sick, which we didn't know about in the beginning, he still brought so much joy."
And Just Like That debuted on HBO Max and Sky last week to a decidedly mixed reception.
