Antoni Porowski feels if he would ‘dishonour’ women he has been in love with if he refers to himself as gay.

Queer Eye’s resident food and wine expert has opened up about his sexuality while speaking to GQ Hype and admitted those they make over on the hit Netflix show are his inspiration for being the ‘truest version’ of himself.

Opening up about his sexuality, he admitted saying he is gay ‘dishonours’ women he has been with as he has been with more women than men.

He said: “I don’t really know and I kind of like not knowing.

“I feel like if I do refer to myself as gay, which would make it easier for people to understand sometimes, I feel like it dishonours women that I’ve been in love with.”

The food expert also opened up about being described as a sex symbol and said he wants fans to know the real him.

He continued: “I did not think that I was going to be objectified as a 34-year-old male, that usually happens for guys in their twenties!

“I used to do this thing where any opportunity I’d remind somebody that I have an educational background.

“I went to university, I’m not an idiot, I read a ton of books. I’ve kind of calmed down on that a little because I think with physical appearance it’s always assumed that you’re a dumbass.”
