Belgian TV star reveals he's 'finally happy' as he opens up about new boyfriend
Belgian actor Jelle Florizoone has revealed he's "finally happy" after discussing his same-sex relationship in a new interview.
The 20-year-old star, who's best known in home country for his roles in Flemish drama film North Sea Texas and children's superhero tevleision series ROX, opened up to Belgian magazine Het Laatste Nieuwswith about his relationship with Egyptian boyfriend Amir.
Florizoone revealed that the pair met at a party, before striking up a romance when the "spark hit" shortly after he'd broken things off with his former boyfriend of almost two years.
Speaking about that heartbreak, Florizoone said: "A breakup is never fun, but I'm still young and that's part of life. Life is a learning process with ups-and-downs. Of course I hope that road will be smooth, but that is unfortunately not the case. I learned from my previous relationship, because I have made mistakes".
Talking about the sorts of guys he goes for, he added: "I'm attracted to dark-haired types because I'm blonde. But I particularly like people with a story. Sure you first look at the outward appearance, but the difference between a flirt and a relationship has to be the content".
Acknowledging the news on Twitter following the article's publication, Florizoone wrote: "Pretty happy with this article. The word is out. #finallyhappy."
By looks of that star's Instagram page, he's certainly right about that...
