Don't "pander to the woke," says CB.

Christopher Biggins was maybe tad misinformed on his latest Good Morning Britain interview, in which slammed the decision to make Superman’s son bisexual – or possibly Superman himself.
To clarify, it is 100% Superman’s son Jon Kent who came out as bi yesterday in the latest from DC Comics, not Superman.
Speaking on TV this morning, actor Biggins had apparently missed the memo, as he eviscerated writers for changing the sexuality of a historic character.
“Pander to the woke”
The star spoke out against pandering “to the woke”, saying on GMB via video link: “Why? Why? Why do we have it? Why do we need it?”
The 72-year-old began then brought up Strictly same-sex couple Johannes Radebe and John Whaite, saying: “They’re wonderful. If you want to do something like this, do something original, don’t take characters that already exist and make them into something they’re not.”

The Porridge star later added: “I do find it absolutely bizarre that this is what people want nowadays. Why can’t we stick to what we’ve had and been given?
“Why don’t they do some new characters, why don’t they create something new, something different, then go to a character we all know, we all love and we all know as this?”
Replied host Richard Madley: “I think if you had stuck with Clark Jent as Superman and made him bisexual you’d probably have a point,” later adding: “This is next generation.”
