Evan Peters goes full-frontal ‘all the time’ on the ‘American Horror Story’ set

American Horror Story might be full of scenes that have us hiding behind a pillow, but one thing viewers definitely aren’t looking away from is Evan Peters’ numerous steamy scenes.
Evan has racked up quite the sexy show-reel across seven seasons of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series, but the 31-year-old admits it doesn’t get any easier to shed your clothing on camera – especially given that the so-called ‘cock socks’ provided to protect his modesty aren’t exactly the most reliable of wardrobe choices.
“Almost every role, there’s been some sort of weird sex scene, and sex scenes are not easy to do,” Peters told GQ in a recent interview. “They’re very embarrassing, especially when you’re in your twenties and you’re still awkward.
“Your balls are hanging out in front of Jessica Lange, and it’s like, This is not normal. This is a very vulnerable experience.”
Peters, who is set to return to screens when American Horror Story‘s eighth instalment premieres in the US next month, went on: “One thing with Kyle [Spencer in American Horror Story: Coven], I had to get out of the tub and hit a lot of stuff and be upset and was completely naked.
“You have your cock sock on, but you’re still naked.”
Asked whether the cock socks ever fall off during a scene, Evan replied: “Yeah, of course they do, all the time. So there’s a 50/50 chance your cock is going to be coming out. It’s a little gnarly.”
