We’re being spoiled with Heartstopper content at the moment! Not that we have any complaints!

As well as releasing a first teaser trailer for the series based on Alice Oseman’s popular webcomic, Netflix has released some more images of the cast and we can not wait for the full series to drop on 22 April.

For the uninitiated, Heartstopper sees secondary school students Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson meet and discover an unexpected connection, which leads them both, and their friends, on a journey of discovery of who they are.

In the trailer and the images, we see Charlie and Nick meet for the first time and some of their more awkward early encounters. We also get to see a growing relationship between Charlie’s best friends, Tao and Elle, as well as more of the relationship between Elle’s new friends, Tara and Darcy.

Joe Locke and Kit Connor will star as Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson respectively. They will be joined by Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, William Gao as Tao Xu, Corinna Brown, and Kizzy Edgell as Tara Jones and Darcy Olsson.

Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood also star.

The series, produced by SeeSaw Films, was first announced last year and is directed by Doctor Who‘s Euros Lyn.
