Chris Pine says he can ‘certainly match’ Michael Fassbender’s penis.
The actor made headlines following the preview at Toronto International Film Festival of his new Netflix movie The Outlaw King for one particular reason – Pine goes full frontal in the movie.
And while speaking to BBC Radio 1 this week, Pine confessed that his nude scene is “no Fassbender situation” referring to the actor’s Golden Globe nominated performance in Steve McQueen’s Shame, but reassured fans that he can “certainly match” him.
He said: “A lot has been made about me being nude.
“And quite honestly, I’m only naked for – it’s not Fassbender situation. I mean, I certainly match him.”
He went on to explain why he wanted to go full frontal in the movie as a way to show the vulnerabilities every person has.
“Man is born a snivelling, snotting, shitting puking, mewling baby, and then he becomes Donald Trump,” Pine continued.
“And underneath the emperor’s clothes, he’s a naked person. And I thought, ‘I want to see the animal and I want to see the king’.
“I want to see the person who’s born looking like an animal and ends up in a position of high power.”
The film is currently streaming on Netflix and we can only say we are thankful there is a pause button.
