Jess Glynne has said she doesn’t want to put herself “in a box” when it comes to her sexuality.

The ‘Rather Be’ hitmaker has touched upon her sexuality saying that she has had relationships with both men and women in the past but she says it is something that she has “never enjoyed talking about”.

Speaking exclusively to Attitude’s November Awards issue, Glynne says: “It is just not something that I’ve never enjoyed talking about because I am a private person, and it’s not something that is necessary for people to know.

“At the end of the day, I didn’t do this job for people to know everything about ne but at the same time I am aware of the fact that I write music that is personal and people want to know what that is about.

“It’s not something that I’m scared of, it’s just something that I don’t entertain in a deep way. I don’t like to put myself in a box in anything in my life.”

Although she admits to keeping a private life, she reveals her label have never told her to hide who she is.

She continues: “It is not something anyone has ever had an opinion on.

“My label and everybody who works with me say, ‘Do your thing’. My career has never been about that part of my life.

“It’s just a part of my life as itis for anyone who has had relationships.”
