In a sign of how long the film has been dogged by COVID-19 delays, it's almost two years exactly since Rami Malek revealed he shared a kiss with Daniel Craig on the set of the newly-released James Bond film No Time To Die.
Happy almost-birthday to a set of quotes that we continue to love!
'Bohemian Rhapsody' actor Malek plays the villainous Lyutsifer Safin in the film, out today, while Craig is playing Bond for the final time before being replaced. (Hopefully by Luke Evans or Jonathan Bailey).
"I can't tell who initiated it"
Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert show in October 2019, Oscar-winner Malek said: "We were sitting at a table [for] hours just batting about ideas back and forth, and we finally cracked this really challenging scene, and he grabbed me and picked me up."
"I can't tell who initiated the next moment, if it was him or I, but a kiss transpired between the two of us.
"I'm going to say Daniel initiated it."
The Mr Robot star then recalled: "I took a moment, caught my breath, and I looked out and said, 'So, does this make me a Bond girl?'"
This week, Attitude chatted to Bond actor Ben Whishaw, who plays Q.
At the suggestion of Evans or Bailey taking over the Bond role, Whishaw told us: “I mean, they’re both wonderful and they’re both wonderful actors. They’re both actors who it seems would be really capable of doing it and would be ideal casting. And it would be thrilling to see either of them do it.
“I wonder if either of them would want to – because it’s not just the demands of the role, but it’s like the demands of being Bond in the world and what it symbolises and how it would change your life.”
The Attitude October issue is out now.
