Grindr’s first original series Bridesman has just got its first trailer.

The six-episode series will premiere in-app on 1 April and on YouTube on 4 April and stars Jimmy Fowlie (The Other Two, Search Party, and Two Broke Girls) as well as an ensemble cast.

A synopsis for the film reads: “Bridesman is a comedic limited series that follows Terry, gay and awful, as he is forced to fulfill bridesmaid duties for his best friend despite his disdain for the construct of marriage and an electric sexual connection with the groom.

“The series is an irreverent, fast-paced satire of modern wedding culture and the ‘old fashioned trend’ of monogamy,” it continues.

“Come follow Terry and a stellar ensemble cast (Shannon DeVido, Sydney Washington, Benito Skinner, Chester Lockhart, and Calvin Seabrooks, among others) through the hallmark events required of a bridal party from the sexy bridal boudoir photoshoot to the bachelorette party to the rehearsal dinner.”

The series is created by John Onieal and directed by Julian Buchan. Written by Onieal and Frank Spiro it has been produced by Jeremy Truong, Katie White with Alex Black, Patrick Rogers, and Evan Sterrett serving as executive producers.

Attitude’s new-look March/April issue is out now.
