As if mega success with Take That wasn’t enough, Robbie Williams has forged the sort of solo career many pop stars can only dream about. And, for 25 years, he has never failed to entertain us.
Over that time, he’s sold 75 million records worldwide, become Britain’s best-selling solo artist, had 11 chart-topping albums and seven number one singles. And that doesn’t take into account his success with Take That. It’s no wonder Robbie Williams is an esteemed artist national treasure, and the recipient of our Music Icon Award, supported by Discover LA.
Robbie was presented with his award by John Grant at tonight’s star-studded Attitude Awards ceremony at London’s 8 Northumberland Avenue, hosted by Alan Cumming.
