Julien Macdonald collects Style Hero prize at Attitude Awards

Welsh fashion designer Julien Macdonald was crowned Style Hero at the Attitude Awards on Monday night (13 October).

Julien was presented with his award by interior design guru and Dragon’s Den star Kelly Hoppen, who told the audience: “[Julien] has dressed everyone from Beyonce to Bassey, and looks pretty good in sequins on the dance floor himself.”

The ex-Chanel and Givenchy designer laughed before telling the audience: “I’ve been called a lot of things in my life, but never a style hero!” He then went on to reveal that he is now planning to design his first menswear range.
