A security guard has a priceless reaction to realising he’s not with Lady Gaga
After Lady Gaga's The Chromatica Ball show in Miami had to be stopped one person was mistaken for the 'Rain On Me' singer.
Lady Gaga and The Chromatica Ball has had plenty of highlights.
Besides the actual show itself (the literal definition of spectacle) there have also been several moments that have kept people entertained along the way.
Among such moments was when Lady Gaga defended gay marriage and called out attacks on abortion rights in the US during one show.
However, one moment actually didn’t involve the ‘Rain on Me’ singer at all, despite what one person thought.
The drag queen, DJ, and TV host, Penelope Jean, posted a video from the last night of Gaga’s tour on Saturday (17 September) showing her in full Gaga drag being escorted out of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida by a security guard.
As the pair fight through the thronging crowd, Penelope shouts at the guard and crowd alike: “I’m a drag queen!”.
Eventually, the poor security guard catches on he’s not with Lady Gaga and can be seen mouthing something along the lines of “holy s***”.
Other videos show Penelope being swamped by audiences on the last night of Gaga’s tour with many people filming her. We’re not sure if they too thought she was the real Lady Gaga.
The Miami show had to end early due to a storm. Lady Gaga told her fans:”I’m sorry that we can’t finish but I don’t want to put your life in danger and I don’t want to put our life in danger.”
In a tearful video on Instagram the singer apologised again adding, “This was the greatest tour of my life and I will cherish this moment forever—it took a long time for me to heal, but I did.”
The Attitude September/October issue is out now.
