Ben Aldridge and Jonathan Groff are faced with making an impossible decision in the first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s horror film, Knock at the Cabin.

The Fleabag and Looking actors star as husbands who while on holiday with their young daughter are taken hostage by four armed strangers.

The trailer for the film sees the trio arrive at their remote holiday cabin singing merrily as they go.

However, the tranquility is short-lived thanks to the arrival of four armed strangers, who break in and demand the family “make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse,” the film’s synopsis reads.

It continues, “With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”

As well as Aldridge and Griff the film stars Dave Bautista (The Guardians of the Galaxy), BAFTA nominee Nikki Amuka-Bird (Persuasion), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (Little Women), and Rupert Grint (The Harry Potter franchise).

Knock at the Cabin is an adaptation of Paul Tremblay‘s The Cabin at the End of the World, which has been confirmed by the author himself.

The film will be released by Universal Pictures on 3 February 2023.

The Attitude September/October issue is out now.
