‘Queer Christmas’: 9 pics of queer club culture fest Body Movements as Winter Edition hits East London once again
The party returns to Hackney Wick on Sat 3 Feb before moving to "a new playground at a grass field site" next August
Body Movements Winter Edition returns to East London next weekend, with over 100 artists and seven special guests slated to perform.
This seasonal offshoot of the multi-venue festival, celebrating queer club culture, electronic music and art, takes place for the second time on Saturday 3 February 2024 at Queens Yard in Hackney Wick.
It will once again showcase the best of clubland with 27 crews including 2CPERREA, Adonis, Bitch Please!, Bottom Heavy, Fèmmme Fraîche, High Hoops, Inferno, Nite Dykes, Pxssy Palace, T-Boys Club and many more for this day to night session.
Organisers promise a ‘melting pot of identity and expression in the proudest form. A unique formula of homegrown and international talent will be soundtracking the day. Getting up close and personal, this half-cap soiree promises to dazzle guests by delivering an A-class programme of selectors to East London despite being a smaller gathering.’
Artists from previous years include Peach, Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa, Job Jobse, TAAHLIAH, Roza Terenzi, ISAbella.
This may be the last time revellers can enjoy the event’s multi-venue form, with a change-up slated for the Bank Holiday Sunday 25 August edition.
“Aside from the specially curated mammoth line-up, this year marks a special chapter for Body Movements before they enter a new playground at a grass field site with a colossal collection of talent within and beyond the electronic realm,” said a Body Movements rep.
“[But] as the countdown begins it’s only a matter of time before queer Christmas is upon us once again.”
