Drag Race UK’s Tia Kofi drops steamy ‘So Good’ music video
"I’m like a Barbie, I’m gonna party’," Tia Kofi sings in a boxing ring.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK‘s series two alumnus Tia Kofi has released a fierce music video for their new track ‘So Good’.
Written by pop creators Ken Gao and Rachel Giuffrida, ‘So Good’ is an uninhibited and raunchy mid-tempo pop single that tracks Kofi picking herself back up after a toxic relationship.
“I never thought I’d say this but I’m glad, I’m glad, I feel so good without you,” the South London queen sings, her voice cutting through the catchy pop melody with an empowering edge.
The sultry track is accompanied by a steamy music video directed by Lee Cheney that sees Kofi joined by a bunch of friends in the locker room and boxing ring of a gym.
In an array of sporting looks, Kofi’s friends surround her and perform impressive choreography while she dons the boxing gloves and reflects on how her ex treated her.
Platinum blonde ponytail sitting high with gloves on her fists, Kofi abandons the relationship to focus on her own self-worth with uplifting lyrics that prioritise self-love.
Showcasing her pop credibilities, Tia Kofi demonstrates an intoxicating mix of engrossing visuals and candid lyrics, a pairing that makes for a track you put on repeat.
